General Lying-In Hospital, London
A £3 million contract to refurbish the Grade II listed General Lying In Hospital located on York Road, near St Thomas’ Hospital in London was completed for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital NHS Trust. The building dates back to the 1840s and was originally designed as a maternity hospital but has not been used as such for a number of years. It now provides a staff training centre and accommodation for a number of support services.
